which is why you see at the end of Season 9 when Carolina takes out Church from the recovery beacon used to seal Tex in... Carolina isn't dead... yet... she might die in season 10 though

@D34dlySpork They changed the story because they said it would have made a better plot. What would be better? Getting shot by a simulation trooper or having the highway scene where he gets shot in the throat 9 times?

It is similar to how Bungie changed Halo Reach's story from their first trailer.

@D34dlySpork it's to avoid giving spoilers throughout the series - RvB keeps you guessing what's going to happen next if this was the real version then by the time "Planning the heist" was released people would have known what was going to happen and would ruin the prequel storyline

I just don't get how it fits into the S9 chronology. Here is says Maine was shot by sim troopers, but he was shot by the jetpack guy in S9. If this happened before then (the reason Maine mostly growls and talks funny), then it had to have happened before his practice fight with Tex, Wyoming, and York since his voice is already like that. But if it happened before that, York's eye would be okay. If the jetpack guy was a sim troop, why would Wash say they failed the objective?
