How to copy a selection and paste it into a new gimp document that has the correct size and dimensions of the piece that has been copied to the clipboard. Much like copying a selection in Photoshop, but a little different to get the new correct size document.

  • Even when I select an area and copy it, it still just copies the whole image, regardless of what selection tool I use... Why? Gimp does all kinds of wierd stuff like that for me.
