However can I ask a fundamental question? Would Conley have voted for the stimulus? Would Conley have voted on "Health Care Reform"? How about Cap and Trade? Financial Overhaul? Bloated budgets... continuing our war in Afghanistan?

The truth is Webb is a rubber stamp for Obama, making votes based on partisanship, NOT on principle.... its a shame!

mrssalina: The case against welfare warfare check applies to even the average soldier as well. I want you to prove me wrong that the average soldier does not depend on the check he receives to survive or help out his family. Government knows this and tries not to give too much because it is not to the interest of the military. After all, even defense contractors need steady stream of soldiers to do that dirty work. A high turnover of soldiers is counter productive.

The average duty military person is not on a "welfar warfare check." There are actually too few soldier to properly look out for US interests even if we were not in Iraq.

Its defense contractors who are on the "welfare warfare" check at the expense of the average soldier.

I feel the southern active military members who rely on the "welfare warfare" paycheck my not support Conley even though his message is very popular in virtually every corner of the 51 states. The American people have too much pride, especially in the south. I fear that people like Graham may sound the alarm of retreat and surrender to the public may cause an unfavorable vote for Graham despite agreeing with Conley more then not.

to a typical South Carolinian so-called "Christian" Conley may be conservative, respect the Constitution, limited government, but he's a Democrat and that's who the Blacks vote for, so it's safest to stay with a Republican like Lindsay "Sodom and Gomorrah" Graham.

But Graham was squeamish when he saw how South Carolina REALLY treats prisoners, in SC jails and abroad, and he wimped out. So vote for the Democrat if he's tough enough to approve of homo-torture. That's Southern Values!
