Yes, the Arduino does *everything*. The only thing the USB cable does is power it. If I added batteries, I could remove the cable.

I saw this on your Feelslikeburning blog. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Arduino does the whole number crunching thing to calculate the mandelbrot, as well as displays it?
