    1. Charging 1 US penny will have no impact on individual behaviors. Lern2economics, and then lern2psychology.

    2. It's an artificial cost which competition does not allow without government intervention.

    3. Spam will come from overseas like it already does because other governments would not be so stupid as to play along with this scheme.

    4. Businesses with a large volume of internal emails would be the only ones to actually suffer, needlessly raising their costs.

    Bad talk, bad idea.

    Pfff few years ago there was no TV's either computers, people lived somehow.

    I was growing without a computer with cable TV that shows only about 10 channels, it's was unusual I was going out side with friends, doing homeworks was riding my bike and stuff like that. So don't be depressed when the internet is gone. Go out, and do some stuff!
