I've been asked- what items does everyone need for every different type of makeup? Well here's my answer! Look for more videos on eyes, lips, and brushes/tools!

  • first of all i must say i love your vids because you always give cheap alternatives (because not all of us can afford mac, but we all want to look great) in fact i became addicted (in a good way) to ur vids :)...and i love them also because you reccomend products that can be found in europe not only in us(revlon, rimmel, maybelline, loreal, neutrogena)

my problem is the dark circles around my eyes...pls can you help me with that and give me some suggestions

thanks and you do a great job!!!

  • Hi! Thank you so much! My first tip for undereye circles is to use a yellow toned concealer and make sure you set it with powder that's a slightly lighter shade than you'd use all over your face. For more tips- check my Concealer 101 video! :D

  • hey do you have any other suggestions with concealers? they dont have my skin tone colour in the maybelline one. thanks so much i love your videos your awesome

  • Other ones I like are ELF's all over cover stick, or Max Factor Pan Stick. If you want to use a mineral powder- I recommend Bare Minerals Bisque, or Everyday Minerals Sunlight :)

  • Did they discontinue that Neutrogena

tinted moisturizer? I can only find

    the untinted version and then

    there's that Neutrogena Healthy

    Skin Enhancer which is suppose

to be an alternative to foundation.

Maybe I'm just not looking in the

    right stores?

  • hmmm... I hope they haven't discontinued it! I can still find it in the stores where I live, hopefully they re-stock at your store! :)

  • You look like Arwin from Lord of the Rings in this video.

  • It might. To be honest I really don't believe EVERYONE needs makeup. If you have good skin then don't wear foundation. Or if you don't need concealer then don't wear it. You know what i mean? I think it's the less the better.

  • I found a great tool for applying makeup and plucking eyebrows and it's very inexpensive...$10.00 It's good for us ladies over 40 that have trouble seeing up close in a mirror. It's actually a reading glass lens that suctions to any mirror. It's not distorted like a magnifying mirror and it's small and easy to travel with. That's when I have used it the most. Oh it's called the see clearly lens.

  • i love your videos~

these videos (your older ones) show how much you have improved throughout the years! its great! :)

  • Your vids are so helpfull! Anyhow, I never use a bronzer like ever. I have a very pale skin which is also very dry, and I dont really know which bronzer I should use, and if it should do any good effect on me. I could get a expesive one, but that would be useless..

  • Your eye make up is amazing

  • I love Mineral Veil :) It's one of the few things I'm willing to spend extra money on!

  • i love all your vid. you give fair comments with all the products you review . and your pretty face is a plus =)

  • You rock, Emily! I love how you give affordable options for the high end recommendations. I agree, everyone needs a lw foundation! Revlon Colorstay is absolutely my favorite to this day! I wish I could find my color in the Lasting Finish..:-( The lightest shade is just too dark! Again, awesome picks!! I love seeing these older videos because you can totally see how you've evolved. Thanks so much for sharing your life with the world! ::muah!::

  • omg u r awsome ily

  • Oh my god, if they test on animal's, don't buy it, it's not that hard to understand. Emily was letting you know her favorite product's. And not all High end make-up doesn't test on animals. Or is cruelty free.

  • im only 12 year old, but im thinking of buying light, light covereg and dewy finish giving foundation. i am really intrested about the Maybelline Pure Mineral liquid foundation. does it give a glowy finish, and is it too thick and heavy for 12 year old? i was also thinking a tinted moisturizer but could i buy the Maybelline foundation?
