  • Somebody call the wambulance. Thats what you all get for taking out loans in the first place.

Want to solve the problem? DONT GET A LOAN, then once everyone stops shit will change.

  • I can see you put alot of thought into your post.

Education is a necessity. Belittling people who decided they wanted to enrich their lives solves nothing, so I suggest you think hard about your sentiments.

Putting pressure on Congress, publicly shaming the American oligarchy and urging others to do the same is the only viable solution. Get active or get out of the way, typicalboarder.

  • I think we should all get together and leave the country en masse. Let the US lose its college graduates and see how well the country continues to fair when its intelligent, well-educated people leave it. I'll bet our talents and skills would be better appreciated elsewhere in the world.

  • You can't have a democratic society when poor and middle class people don't have the right to an education. Neo-cons keep claiming they're afraid of tyranny but a society that discourages its people from getting an education invites tyranny.

  • These COLLEGE students can't compute the economic impact of their loans. What this indicates is how stupid American kids are!

  • Thanks Cryn! You are a beacon of light.... your hard work will pay off !!!

  • Thank you for helping to bring attention to this issue. We need more student loan advocacy for America's past, present, and future students.

  • So many students are getting caught in this toxic debt trap. Borrowing for college is viewed as "the norm." Few can afford a degree without borrowing - the system is perpetuating itself as tuition costs rise. Perhaps awareness will get people to stop borrowing and as enrollments go way down, colleges will be forced to make getting a degree affordable again. Hmm? But everyone thinks college is a must for advancement in the job market, so I don't see that happening....Wait what job market?

  • Thank you Cryn!

It's time people see that student loan practices are just as, if not more, predatory than mortgages.

We have to decide as a nation if education is a privilege or a right.

  • Thank you!!!
