So, I know this doesn't make sense. It will soon, I couldn't write it from where I was in the story. I'll fill you in on what happened over the months as the story progresses. Be patient.

"Are you going to act like this the whole night?" Riley scolded, her tone dripped with her un-maskable exasperation as she stared at the disheveled man in front of her. His tie hung loosely around his neck, she reached forward, as if she was decided whether to fix it or not before deciding against it, letting her hands drop to her sides once again. "Today isn't about you, Greg. Today is about Chelsea and Joe and you know damn well it isn't the right setting or time for us to be trying to rip each others throats out. Ill be out of here in a few days and you can go back to your perfect world without me. Just stop making this harder than it really has to be." Riley finished, spinning her ring around her finger a few times as a means of distracting herself. Greg just grunted at her words, Riley sighed softly.
"I don't plan on making this easy for you, Riley." His voice was cold, dead. It wasn't the same voice she had once remembered and so often whispered words of love into her very ears. "What do you want me to say? Thanks for abandoning me? Thanks for avoiding my phone calls, emails, letters, everything? Thank you for walking out of my life and never looking back as if I meant nothing to you?" He growled at the petite brunette in front of him. "Just stay away from me." Riley watched him as he pushed the door open with his shoulder and walked out. Maybe calling him in here to talk to him wasn't one of her best ideas but at least she knew he wouldn't ruin Joe and Chelsea's day.
"Its been rough for him, Riley." A voice informed her before wrapping their arms around her slim torso. He inhaled deeply as a small smile spread across his face. "Joey!" Riley shrieked before tackling the bigger boy into a tight embrace. She couldn't recall the last time she had actually seen her best friend in the flesh, maybe a few days after the accident? Months by her count. She pulled back slightly, keeping her hands at his elbows before giving him a once over. "You look so handsome, Joe. You're going to make Chelsea's heart stop."
Joe flashed Riley a toothy grin, still grasping her tightly as if when he let go, shed disappear again. Joe opened his mouth to speak up the church organ cut him off. Disappointment flashed across his face, Riley frowned slightly too. "Later." She promised before dragging him out of the room. The two walked quickly, their heads down as they spoke in hushed tones filling in all missing details of their lives before reaching the group by the church doors.
"J.T! JACK! RYAN! KEVIN! NICK! BIG ROB!" Riley broke into a crooked smile, trying to fit them all into one big hug. Her gaze flickered to Greg as he backed out of the group before returning her attention to the group of men in front of her. "I missed you guys. You look so grown, Nick! Everyone, you all look so handsome." Riley gushed, her facial expressions and actions so animated that it was hard for everyone to not feel excited with her, her mood was contagious. J.T was the first to step forward, his eyes met Greg's for a moment before re-adjusting his eyes on Riley. "You look stunning, as usual." He began slowly, a small apologetic smile on his round face. "We've all really missed you, are you going to stick around for awhile?"
Silence washed over the group of friends as their eyes watched Riley curiously. "Guys, you know I cant-" Joe cut her off quickly, a stern look on his otherwise happy face. "Riley, its been months and you cant blame yourself and hide from your friends and family forever." He nudged her gently, Riley stiffened. "Not here." She hissed through clenched teeth. The erratic wedding planner burst through the tiny reunion, waving her hands as if would help them disperse as she yelled about everyone getting in their places and getting the show on the road. Everyone walked quietly to their places, her and Big Rob were the only ones who remained. She smiled up at him, shaking her head slightly. He lifted her into a gentle hug, holding her against his chest. "You do look beautiful, no one can argue that point at least." He told her with a booming laugh. A few guests turned back to see what all the noise about but it wasn't long before they lost interest again. It's show time.
