Nice tool but if your cheap like me just use the cap from a sharpie pen and it will score the box so its easy to bend.

I remember using a level and an exacto knife last year, boy I wish I had on of these instead...
I watched a vid from RP on how to size down a box to save on shipping

That looks neat. Though I use the knife/exacto/scissors & a ruler to score, this does look quicker. As far as the $18, you gain that back in time saved after your first 5 boxes, IMO.Normally, if I have to custom make a box, I will do all my scoring on the outside. I will then split the box at it's seam & turn it inside out to hide my scores & all the labelling currently on the box for a nice clean surface. Can't win'em all Will. Some people just can't accept helpful advice. Cheers!

@ArizonaPublic Note to self; raise tripod for next video. :-) Will
Don't worry will, I get the same types of comments. Those with dissenting opinions should present them on their OWN channel rather than take a video and simply reply " that's stupid."

That looks like a great tool for sizing down boxes, thx for doing a review on it. Do U have to reinforce the sized down corners-w-extra packing tape to strengthen the cardboard so UR parcel survives the shipping better?

@182125 When in doubt, use more packing tape! The perforations are supposed to go on the inside of the box but it is easier to do on the outside of a made up box. Will

I always put the score to the inside of the box. I think it makes it look better

@johnr316 It is better on the inside I just did the outside of the box because it was easier. Will
