Yet another great blues composition from this piano legend from his LP of the same name propelled by one of the best left hands in jazz piano. RIP Ray.

  • Many thanks, Ray

  • Gloria a uno de los mas grandes pianistas de Jazz .Sigue vivo en nuestros discos. Esa gran mano izquierda y ese inigualable swing.

  • @shayna0205 I just found out Ray Bryant passed away. "Little Susie" was one of the first records I bought. Geez that was a long time ago. The song still sounds great. We have been fortunate to have his music.

  • レイブライアント、奏でるリトル・スージーは私の大好きな一曲。有難う御座います。

  • I grew up with cubano chant by ray, my dad used to play it on his tape recorder. He got the tape from his uncle who recorded it from a radio station in the USA in I guess 1957....

I still have this tape and am now collecting Ray's cd's! What great music these guys (Ray and the other musicians of his era) made! Even my kids love it!

    thanks Ray RIP!

  • Geez, does this bring back old memories. In the late fifties in Chicago I was 12 or 13 and at night I'd tuck my little transistor radio under my pillow and listen to Sid McCoy's late night jazz show "The Real McCoy." He used to play this, along with a bunch of other gospel-tinged jazz & blues. Loved this song.

  • I remeber the frist time I heard in the back oof my father's car, I was a little girl i loved it. Thanks for uploading this old favorite of mine. I went out & brought this album as soon as I was able to in the mid sixties.

  • Thank you for sharing all of these high-audio-quality tunes by Ray Bryant. I was so happy to find them here!

  • Had this record back in 1959. One of the first records that I bought when I came too the states...loved it! Great music!
