Excerpts from one of Phil's six episodes of "The Beverly Hillbillies". Shifty John Shafer cons the Clampetts into buying the White House. Guest starring Kathleen Freeman.
The short version of the opening credits without the ballad started with these Phil Silvers DC episodes. It alternately ran thru the '70-71 season. Luckily, it is still seen in syndication. The producers must have figured that people knew very well the story of Jed & clan by 1970, and they did not need the ballad version during this season.
gotta love the C.A.S.H. bits
