I thought you meant throw. I know about hikite, and while hikite is used to unbalance, the concept of meto di or husband and wife hand is happening simultaneously. So I tend not to think of hikite in isolation, but as a principle in many techniques.
@ronin752 In karate-do it's quite easy: It's hikite! You do it in kata with nearly every single movement and you do it in kihon. Now translate hikite and think about it. You could also read what for example Funakoshi says about it. And yes, hikite is "hardcoded" (as someone else on YT named it). I'm pretty sure you'll get it on your own and that you might reconsider your first comment.
That is a difficult question to answer. Its kind of like asking me what is the most used jujutsu technique. That depends on the instructor. When it comes to throwing, I have always liked osoto gari. While a jujutsuka or judoka will often unbalance for that throw using a push/pull with the hands and/or a lifting motion, a palm to the head or a ridgehand to the neck breaks the balance, gets tori's hip forward, and sets up the throw nicely too.

@ronin752 Really? What is the most used karate technique?

@billysue2
I am not sure if this is a karate dojo or jujitsu dojo. In karate, the balance is broken with a strike as oppose to a pull or push.
