  • That is beyond cool. The sound of the metal, doors, engine. That old stuff might be the only thing mechanical, working in this world before long.

  • @oinkyerdoinkyerzwazz I wish I would have made a video of it pulling the old rusty tandem axle 1947 5th wheel trailer. I loaded my flamed 57 Chevy convertible on the trailer, to give it a load to haul to work out the bugs when I first got it. When I would turn corners, that old rusty 5th wheel trailer would make an ery scretch like that old rusty tanker truck did in the movie Dual. Imagine driving it late at night with the amber glow from the cablights on the hood, hauling a load. I lived it

  • I love that interior! That truck has a LOT more styling than cars today!

  • old 50's truck

  • u r doing a hell of lot of damage racing a cold engine especially one that hasn't ran in a long time

  • Great truck. you know they looked like a truck inside and not like a family station wagon like modern ones do. Let trucks be trucks,

  • I notice that the truck has a dash-mounted vacuum operated 2-speed rear control. I drove a '54 dump truck with that type switch and it never failed, which I can't say about the electrical controls.

  • This definitely brings back memories. My parents had a 1948 Chevrolet half-ton Suburban with the same dash, interior (minus the nice seat-- ours had horrible split and cracked brown naugahyde!), starter pedal, floor shift with three regular gears and a granny gear, etc. Except for a couple of years, it was in regular use until traded in in 1967 on a Chevy Belair! I'm not sure whether your truck would have the same engine as our half-ton but it sounds the same.

  • Texas tags Haha

  • cool nice old truck you got there

  • Had an old studabaker with a flathead 6.Had just enough compression to run.Loved to burn oil but i think thats what kept the rings and valves lubed so it could continue running.

  • Started up and sounds like a Champ.

  • @LegionSoldier999 damn thats lucky usualy wen u find one like that it dont have nothin but the actual car
