Just so y'all know... Either what he is playing is not synced with the audio, or they are entirely different pieces. In his playing there are a bunch of slides and barres that dont appear in the music... So I'm pretty sure htey just had Brent Spiner play something he knew, and then overlayed it with something perhaps, more impressive, more 'android'. :P That's not to say the actor can't play-- I understand he puts out albums nowadays.

Hmm... It's definately classical spanish guitar. I *think* it may be a composition by Federico Moreno Torruba, but I'm not entirely sure.

I've received replies on some forums saying that this piece might have been written for this episode. What bothers me, is the fact most of the times (if not all), when there is a transition between scenes and they play some melody, they usually play a known piece. I've heard Chopin, Bach, Beethoven and probably others being played on that show.
That's why I'm quite positive this also is a written classical piece.
I'll check about this Spanish composer you mentioned. Thanks for your reply : )

Sorry, I wish I knew. I've also been looking for the name of this tune for some time now. It's such a beautiful melody. Hopefully, someone will respond with the answer.
