A Musical Dream

It cuts off the end.. but the end scene is the camera looking down on him laying in a bed with a white pillow and a white blanket up to his neck, so you can't see what he's wearing or where he is.. if he's in an astronaut or army uniform or if he's in a hospital gown, but the final noise in the video is a heart monitor flatlining... so I have no idea if he was actually in the space station thing and just slowly going crazy from the solitude, or if he suffered a severe head trauma and just became delusional as blood was pooling in his brain. Either way he died, and the meaning of the whole song was basically, he's somewhere else looking down on the earth - whether it's heaven or as a spirit, or as an astronaut in this space station, but he's looking down on the earth and he's going to die up there, but he knows that everything will keep going on. His family and his friends and the army and the wars and politics and everything will just keep going even though he isn't there for it.

But just the imagery and the words of the song becoming more and more powerful, and the main character becoming more and more alone until he can't even see himself, he's just a silhouette.. that is so powerful. I actually woke up right after the song/video ended and my nose was stuffy and my eyes were wet as if I had been crying in real life. I knew it was a dream the second I woke up. It was a very vivid dream, but it wasn't one of those where you're not sure where you are when you wake up. I knew exactly what had happened, but as I thought about it, I started to notice all these little subliminal things and it just.. wow. I have some very crazy dreams with full backstories and everything, but this was definitely one of the most amazing dreams I've ever had.

Anyway, thanks for watching/reading. I doubt I'll get many views on this and I don't really care either way. If you'd like to try to analyze the dream, by all means knock yourself out. I mostly just did this so I wouldn't forget about him.
