After we completed the long and arduous shoot of the Wand Duel through the New Year, we immediately jumped into another project. That project was A Boy Named Sue. A film adaptation to the hit song by Johnny Cash by the same name.

Sue, played by Kris Thompson, living day by day with the mission to kill the man who gave him that awful name is given the chance to fulfill his dream when he finally meets his dad, played by Sean Tyler, in an old rundown bar.

This project was definitely a challenging one being that it had so many emotions within it: aggression, confusion, sadness. Luckily, two of the most talented actors I've ever worked with pulled their characters off beautifully! And might I add that they've definitely got to be the most sacrificing actors I've ever worked with too. Everything from rubbing onion juice into their eyes to emit tears to running around wildly to get the blood pumping; Kris Thompson and Sean Tyler definitely put more than they had (again) into this project.

So now, I present to you, the third collaborative project with Kris and Sean...

Okay all the people commenting on the video quality and lighting are missing the point of the video. You took a great song/story and used creativity and originality to make it your own. I really liked it. Not all of us have Hollywood budgets and equipment. I think you guys took the resources you poses and made something great!

That's a wicked film. Very brilliant work of art based on the song. I hope that when Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have a son, they name him Johnny Cash Warren, but NOT Sue.

some parts of this video is shot really professionally, never mind the mistakes, even Hollywood productions sometimes makes slip ups. all i could say is that this video was brilliant, very entertaining! i would give it a 8.5 / 10

This was a really good video, the story went perfectly with what the song was trying to do, and the set you filmed on looked really cool. I found this video because it showed up the related videos for my video lol.

I also made a video for A Boy Named Sue. It's a music video and i tried to portray the song in a humorous style. It's my first video but if you want to check it out i would appreciate it.

You make some impressive films, keep it up!
