  • How did you waterproof all of your electronics?

  • I didn't waterproof the electronics. The ESC and receiver sits high enough from the waterline not to be too affected by an occasional spray. I initially tried waterproofing but wasn't too succesful. The ESC needs plenty of airflow from overheating so waterproofing wasn't possible.

  • What motor setup do you have on your plane? Do you have any lipos to?

  • It's a Himax Brushless motor and a 1320 11.1 V lipoly battery.

  • nice take off it just shot off

how much was that plane it flies so well

  • The plane with no electronics or electric motor goes for about 35 dollars. With the electronics, motor, battery, esc and pontoon, about 150.00.

  • @SPIKEwillKILL Nice. It's great how one can get a good airplane for 150 or so. The simple GWS Slow Stick is larger than I thought, & I love it's slow flight. It makes a wonderful beginner r/c airplane, and experienced pilots enjoy it's customization options such as floats & cameras. The SS is affordable, fun, and useful. It would be the ideal plane to get friends into the hobby. When I get mine I'm going to sleep with it, take it out on dates, maybe even do some of that family planning :P

  • how much costs everything radio, plane, motor, servos etc.?

  • what is so special about the (slow stick) i am just wondering

  • Woohoo! Then i made a good buy =) I Live in finland, and i bought it for 140 ^^

  • All that water would scare me. What if my plane sank...eeek. nice landing though dude

  • May i comment?
