This is Tiggy. On the 21st of October. I went on a school trip to the theme maze called the Forbidden Corner in Noth Yorkshire. In the picnic area some boys shouted out that there was a kitten on the muddy grass. I couldn't believe my eyes. I saw a tiny, skinny, shivering kitten who could hardly stand up. The people at Forbidden Corner said there were strays around from time to time. How could I possibly leave such a poor, starving, skinny, shivering, weak little kitty??? I wrapped her in a little towel out of my backpack. She was glad to be held and cuddled in for warmth. I could feel all her bones and I could tell she hadn't eaten for a long time. I kept her with me until it was time to go home. On the bus I rang my mum and asked her to call the RSPCA . Mum said that the RSPCA are inundated with lots of little animals at the moment and they may not be able to take the kitten because she was so little and weak and so poorly. She was too litttle to be away from her mum but there was no sign of the mother cat anywhere. She was starving and I didn't think she would have lasted the night if I left her there. Anyway I couldn't possibly have left her. It's cold in Northen England at the end of October. My mum got an appointment straight away with our fantastic vet Judith Brown who takes care of our rabbits. This really caring vet said Tiggy was about 4-5 weeks old and very weak and very dehydrated. She injected her with some fluids but said she was so weak she could easiy die. We said we wanted to help the kitten if we possibly could. The vet gave us kitty milk and a tiny feeding bottle and some 1ml syringes and said she would need feeding every two hours around the clock. So began our journey with Tiggy. At first we called her Tiger becasue she's a ginger striped cat but when we found out she was girl, we thought Tiggy sounded more girly. As you can see she was very weak and sooooo tiny but we wanted to give her chance. And we thought we were rabbit people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You guys are aaamazing people! My kitten Toblerone was in the same position as Tiggy. She lost her mom from a coyote at the barn where I board my horses. She had three other siblings as well. I bottle fed them all for hours on end but they all survived and went to good homes. I kept Toby (toblerone) because she was something special . She treated me as if I were her mom. Ever since we've been insuperable. She is sitting on my lap right now. When I meow she comes running to me. :D

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww he/she is sooooooooooooo cute

  • I WOULD OF LEFT IT ITS MOTHER WAS PROBALY WAS LOOKING FOR IT

  • :'o( She's so weak....glad she lived :)

  • You can tell by her eyes that she was dehydrated. We mammals all get sunken in eyes when we don't get enough fluids.

Good work on fixing her up.

  • Oh god bless you and little tiggy!

  • this is the most stupidly cute video I have ever seen in my life! Super cute.

  • We need everyone to follow in your footsteps. I've rescued animals throughout the years. There was one time where I rescued an injured sewer rat from the boat compound on the potomac after practice. Would have broken my heart if I had left it there. I brought it to this woman whom I have brought injured squirrels to- She rehabilitates wild rodents. I cannot comprehend why people have the cruelness to disregard an injured animal. It breaks my heart, because they can only do so much when injured.

  • DAMN youre a hero.

  • I tohught they shoul always eat in prone position cause it can kill them otherwise?

  • @rosetheeevee it is and they let us know by snoring, adult cats normally don't snore, only kittens do that to their mom(ofcours they also do it because they know we like it when they do and they get attention through itxD)
