  • @Viiolation the thing here is that phil is more often than not a pretty conservative player, and the size of that bet on the river is just begging for a call. A larger bet is more likely to tell Antonio in this case that phil wants him to fold because his hand is beaten. For some players this may not be true; but for phil hellmuth, a preflop raise, a flop re-raise, a turn bet followed by a river value bet, Antonio has to assume a player like phil has him beat.
