Sounds like a diesel engine, this must be the 3 cylinder engine I guess.
The 1,2 liter is a 4 cylinder engine and sounds more balanced and 'round' in neutral mode.

@muthabacon I own an Agila and let me tell you, they are a great little car. So smooth running and parts are cheap, insurance is cheap and an all round great car! So meh!

daca motorul era cald, trebuie schimbata distributia. La rece (-20) se aude si al meu la fel

schimba-i uleiu` (distributia e pe lant , si intinzatoarele hidraulice lucreaza din ce in ce mai rau cind uleiul este uzat, mai ales in relanti , cind scade presiunea la ulei ) posibil si lantul sa fie uzat daca are peste 250 mii km , apoi schimba bujiile, efectul se vede la pornirea la rece toamna mai ales ... BAFTA !
