who the hell says more black people want to be athletes? Anyway hockey isn't as much an urban sport and definitely not a southern sport, and most black people come from urban areas or southern rural areas, so that's why not many black people are in the NHL...Ward is from Toronto, not gonna see many Black people from Brooklyn or Decatur in the NHL lol

It's had to define black people being in the sport as "benefitted" per say. You should consider the percentage of black people who want to be athletes is marginally higher than those of other races who desire to be.
