  • Poly styrene,Pauline Murray, Siouxsie - what happened to good, unique female vocalists with talent?

  • I love that Poly and the girl with the sax totally drown out the guitar and bass. Always sounded like drunk punk Roxy Music to me. So awesome.

  • damn, I like this .I feel like biting the shit out of something or perhaps someone!

  • its a bit like grandmaster chess below but the song and vid shows that no matter what people try to make out I am proud to live in a country that allows everybody a chance. Lets just burn the bankers!

  • @hughmooney61 poly died lol

  • omg love poly's little TWA <3

  • @curiosofsigns Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment. I find myself to be in agreement with your thoughts on contemporary v. past forms of music. Well said.

  • @japinvt Seeming like someone I am not? Does existence precede essence? Is identity formative or performative? Is there universality in subjectivity? Honestly I don't know why I spelt "with that" wrong. What I was saying was that the tendency to drone on about how past forms of popular music was better then present-day music, and to bemoan the state of contemporary music in general is totally unfounded. I didn't work for the NME in 1975, unless it was a past life. Cheerio.

  • @curiosofsigns So do you write in that style "wiv dat" because you are an illiterate teen / 20-something or are you 55 years old and want to seem like something or someone you are not? Your comment is straight out of NME, MM circa 1975 by the way. "Identity." Yes, who are you and what are you trying to say? Listen to Poly. She will explain it to you. My birth date? July '84.

  • @hughmooney61
