John played with Benny Goodman, Sergio Mendes, Peggy Lee, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, Diana Krall. His stories are a profound piece of Americana and they provide insight into one of the most successful players in jazz.   • thx for posting ! very enjoyable ! i'm surprised John didn't mention his wonderful recordings with Joe Pass ! i guess he's worked with so many people like Chico hamilton etc. that it's hard to recall on the spot .*****

  • Great video! So wonderful to hear the stories from a music legend like John Pisano. What I take from between the lines is that John is solid as a person, as well as a musician. Hope that many young musicians can learn from him a sense of humanity, along with the notes. Again, thanks GuitarBandDVD, for a great video!
