Paeroa Motorbike Crash 2011

The Battle of the Streets in Paeroa New Zealand.
Start of one of the races and the guys on the left hit one another, the bike flips.
I really didn't think i had got it on the camera.
Both riders walked away.

Yeah i think so, i didn't hear of anyone getting to badly hurt.

Fortunately this was a "track" i.e. reasonably controlled race situation with various crews on hand to sort out the incident quickly. Presumably some of these guys competing had little track start experience. Great "live" capture.

I raced a Motard there in 2008. Great fun. As far as the "Limited track experience" comment goes, there is a minimum number of circuit meetings required before you can enter this street race. Search SKYP1G (note 1 not i) for the motard helmet cam (from the back of the pack)

Well ive seen a rs250 aprilia crash in the pits not sure, I only seen his fairing break in a thousand pieces haha, He was ok tho :)

By the way i only went cuz of the motards.
