Jay Bennett was killed by the health care system in America. Before Obama took over, health insurance companies could refuse treatment of pre-existing conditions. This happened to Jay, and to fight the pain of needing a hip replacement he couldn't afford, he used pain killers. R.I.P. Jay-- I hope you rest well knowing that it won't happen to any more Americans that way. Your music means everything to a lot of people.
