I am English and i agree that in the past the English treated the Welsh like shit, and we ought to be ashamed of that. I hope the Welsh don't ever leave Britain because the diversity of Britain is what makes it so rich and strong. The Welsh language was not respected, they should have started teaching basic Welsh to young children in schools throughout Britain years ago so we can go to Wales and at least order a cup of tea and a scone. Good reason to learn welsh = the girls are beautiful :).

Welsh language is the remnants of the real Hebrew language.. Gael hedd. (Welsh) Galaed. (Hebrew) meaning Geledd (Gen.31;47) i.e. heap of testimony Anudon. (Welsh) Aen Adon. (Hebrew) meaning "Without God" Yni all sy dda. (Welsh) Ani El Saddai. (Hebrew) meaning "I am the Almighty God" (Gen. 17;1) Llai iachu yngwyddd achau ni. (Welsh) Loa yichei neged acheinu. (Hebrew) meaning "Let him not live before our brethren" (Gen.31;32). Coincidence?? I don't think so..

They should teach the english to speak Welsh too. I'm going to learn Welsh and I'm going to be one more Welsh speaker in the world. And I'm not a native speaker of English.

I am welsh and man...I feel terrible for only knowing the basics XD I've gotta get back to my roots, us welsh have thousands of years of rich heritage before the saxons came and we need to appreciate that more.
