This is a review of the review video; not of the movie or the Lovecraft story. If you are going to do a video review, then please write down your text first and then read from it as you record. Way too many uh's and ah's. Know ahead of time what you are going to say. And don't cough and excuse yourself. If you cough, then stop the camera and start over. God, how amateurish.
No doubt purist Lovecraft fans may disagree (and fair enough) but the feel of the demons in 'Dead Birds' were quite Lovecraft-ian. Something about the setting, too, though no Innsmouth, stays in the mind. Worth seeing if you're looking for something to try.
there is a silent b&w release of call of cthulhu that came out in 2005. the most true to the books of any lovecraft movies i've seen. has a very oldschool feel to it.
You're too kind man on your review... this movie was so fucking bad! Bad actig, bad directing, bad everything... horribly bad! But it was seriously funny to see all those bimbos popping out here and there, completely out of context, just to underline the fact that the probably fat loser director did his best to get laid while casting!

The movie had a very weired surreal atmospher....a bit like a bad trip a times.
But it had it's moments.

Wow you must have really hated cthulhu 2007, lol. You should try dreams in the witch house. It was an actual good Lovecraft movie.

If you want a good adaptation on Lovecraft look no further than "The Resurrected" with Chris Sarandon
