This really is an excellent design.I made some by colouring plain paper with pastels.Well done again Joost!

I make coloured patterns and print these patterns on copy-paper. I have printable patterns on my website. There's a link to my site on the main-page of my channel.

The flower for this one is slightly harder for beginners, but not terribly so. It just takes a wee bit more patience, particularly trying to make those petals "stay put".
As for making a hexagon, another way to do it would be to use the initial steps in making a kirigami snowflake. Your petals may not be absolutely perfect (they may be literally a few hairs off), but what flowers' petals ARE perfect?
The flower for this one is exquisite .. looks a lot harder than it is! Another great job!

You're right. A bit of imperfection makes flowers look better. For some flowers I cut square papers on sight, not by drawing a square figure first.
