R.I.P. Crackle. You are a beautiful cat.

Everybody! Look! It's my favorite cat ever!

A very special thanks to Bridget for getting Crackle to come over! She gave Crackle a chicken neck wrapped in a paper tube!

While that counts as enrichment, I decided not to give it the title "Enrichment With..." because enrichment isn't the main focus of the video.

Again, Bridget, I can't thank you enough! That was one of the sweetest, nicest things someone has ever done for me! I hope you are part of the tour I go on next year!

Please check out Big Cat Rescue's site:

Thanks!

  • Awesome! Caracals have to be one of the most gorgeous of the so-called "lesser" cats. Plenty strong too, from what I understand-I've heard that male caracals have killed Thompson's gazelles and impala before.

  • Yes, caracals are VERY strong. They can even take down multiple birds in a single leap! It's ridiculous people think that they can be pets, eh?

  • i know it! Pppl come to Tigers for tomorrow & as if we sell babies!! what a buch of crazys. we do not breed & sure do not pramote privite owning!! it's stuff like that why they have sooo many animals. :)

  • That's great that they don't breed. Good for them! And it's great that they care about their animals. ^^

You are sooo lucky you volunteer at a sanctuary! =D

  • how did she get her name? it's interseting. Tigers for Tomorrow has a baby african lion named Kal-al. he is sooo cute & i also love his name. :)

  • Crackle got her name when she was a kitten. Before she was at Big Cat Rescue, the USDA inspector came to her house, and said "What a beautiful litter of crackles" He didn't know how to pronounce "caracal" It was so cute that the name stuck! =D
