The abolition of Tech TV was more than I could take. (I really liked some of their regular shows sometimes too.) After that we didn't really have anything on cable anime-wise aside from AS until Sci-Fi stepped up after so long from the 90's (except for premium channels perhaps).

I remember the show itself being a little grating, but JAM Project really outdid themselves with this sequence. Just show this to me a half dozen times and I'd be just as satisfied as watching a half-hour show.
