  • Some people actually know that Obama would betray their interests, but they don't want to think about it or discuss it, because it makes them feel bad. Then they write off Ralph as being an impossibility. They don't realize they are the ones who make it impossible to get an honest man who's on our side in the Whitehouse, by not voting their conscience.

  • My only objection to Matt's speech here is that he mentions only the Iraq War, not the Afghanistan War, or the resource war in Africa, includng the "forgotten war" in the Congo, where an estimated 5 million have died since 1998 alone.

  • Ralph has stated that his book "The Seventeen Traditions" is a love letter to his parents. He wrote it to record family traditions and to encourage others to record their own family traditions too. It's more in hopes of saving our precious families(something that has been under a lot of stresses)than a memoir. I read the book and Ralph isn't the main character, also a book about his childhood isn't one about his whole life... I don't get the sense that Ralph's gonna wrap it up here anytime soon.

  • Yes Ralph chose a real gem. I wouldn't write Ralph off as an old man though. His parents both lived in good health to 99 years old and his own mind is as clear as ever. I saw him in person this month and this man is more vibrant, verile and energetic than someone half his age. He's a real tomcat. Nader-Gonzalez 2008!

  • Definately

  • this campaign is lest about nader and gonzalez running for office as it is nader getting an opportunity to showcase the man named gonzalez -- he's passing the mantle. nader knows he's getting old and doesn't have much time left (he just wrote a memoir of sorts last year called 'the 17 traditions'). he couldn't have found a better successor to champion his causes.

  • Its comfortable in the womb. Very peaceful but its not alive. They are the walking dead. And well said to slavesrevolt.

  • The Dems are in a tough position. Too many Americans have swallowed the Kool-Aid on the "War to Create More Terrorism". Too much of the commercial media is owned by weapons contractors. One of Obama's biggest backers is a senior exec at General Dynamics - a weapons contractor. Any REAL opposition will have to find a way to by-pass the propaganda machine that grips America's media. That's a BIG ask....and no one has managed it. Worse, the victims (voters) buy into the lies.

  • Most people are happy to keep drinking the Kool-Aid. It's "easier". You don't have to argue with too many people. You're one of the herd. The herd is safe.

  • You can see that connecting the dots is painful when your whole life you've just been told to color between the lines.

I certainly hope more people turn away from the medias representation of consumerism reality and seek alternate sources. If this election carries on as it has the next term will be business as usual. CIA subterfuge, wars, death and destruction while people get their nails done.

Are you exploiting or being exploited or both?
