When changing power-steering fluid, the first step is to locate the power-steering fluid reservoir and check the fluid level. Add power-steering fluid to the reservoir while the vehicle is running with help from the manager of an auto service shop in this free video on car maintenance.

  • Not everybody can afford to go to a blood sucking mechanic everytime their vehicle NEEDS some type of work done. SHOW us HOW-TO do it without all the extra comments.

  • So you made a how to video on changing the fluid. But you'd prefer the people who seen the video didn't actually change it.... Okay lol

  • @isisncasey True, not everyone can afford to go to a mechanic, but what's with the name calling? How would you like it if someone insulted your profession that way? Especially if you went through specialized training to have such profession, and were obligated to purchase $20,000 or more in tools and equipment in order to do this job, as well as protect, maintain and hold insurance on this equipment, as well as hold a license to do the job?

Keep your ignorance to a minimum please.

  • @wilfredotour2 Turn the steering wheel from lock to lock, left to right several times. Fluid may aerate slightly just be sure to top off fluid appropriately

  • your videos suck, they are very confusing

  • how do you bleed the system?

  • This method I think is the best; but it's a 2 man job unless you have remote start capability or you're super fast at geting from the driver widow to the passenger side fender before it runs dry.

  • @isisncasey -- here's a good video that shows you how to do it: /watch?v=T4Gp1vNgOLc
