  • Do you have an scientific studies to support the 10:00pm - 2:00am repair claim? If so, please link to the study. Thank you.

  • Hey JudasEffect, this is the Paulcheklive site administrator here. I cant get to paul directly to ask this but i can tell you that the books "lights out" and "The Circadian Prescription" contain many references to the effect of light, different types of light and the timing of these lights relative to the sun and hormone production.

  • Is coconut oil a good fat to eat at night or should I avoid it because it might give me too much energy?

  • How do you pinpoint times like that? Isn't it adjustable to circadian rhythms (8 hours sleep/16 wake) To say 10-2 is when that happens seems strange but enlighten me. Also, I live in Boston so we actually have winter and less daylight. In California where I have some friends, they never get a real winter.

  • Thanks so much for this Josh. Great information!

  • @LALC im 17 and ive taken valerian, its completely safe, i never noticed any side effects, dependency, addiction or anything

i found that sleep meds that have melatonin, chamomile and valerian all in one pill work the best lol

  • Im tired Im going to bed. Night night.

  • do you think valerian is safe for someone to take, and if so is it still alright if your 17?

  • wow awesome infos there :)

  • thanks for this vid! sleep patterns (or lack thereof) are definitely an issue of mine. i'll try not to drink coffee in the afternoon, i always thought it wouldn't effect my sleep if i drank it at about 4pm, and i wasn't aware of the 6 hr half life. and the flickering lights/cortisol connection.....i never heard of that either.

    useful information. thank you.

  • i don't think so. :D
