Lesson - 27th May '11

well the halo has definitely slipped from stinkas head ! has had it on him all day , kicked the shit out of his door this morning , eating his leadrope , trying to run off with my mum , taking a chunk out of the flower baskets at vale view ......
was soo hyper today , tbh with the wind he hasnt been ridden much so is sort of understandable .

Anyways did some stuff without stirrups and did this little jump on a tight circle which was pretty hard especially with my saddle slipping round , then went to jump this plank with flowers infront of it so was OBVIOUSLY going to eat him ! so yeah him cat leaping + me without stirrups = big splat. eventually was allowed my stirrups back so we could actually get over it and then he was finee. did some related distances putting in extra strides and taking them out . then did the course and he was good , backed off a couple of the scary ones but he was good boy :) !

can i just say, you're an amazing rider!

you ride quietly and yet effectively and even though your horse can be a bit cheeky sometimes :P you always seem to try so hard! lovely video, and lovely horse too xxxx

i am SO jealous of how you ride without stirrups! for 6 years when i was in a riding school i rode without them for a bit every single lesson, but when i got Harry almost 2 years ago i stopped doing it, & now im trying to again & trotting just slaughters my legs! :L

Haha he just can't help himself but keep you on the edge of your seat! hahaha!!! What a plonker of a horse but what a dude aswell he's got suchhhh a jump on him and honestly, kudos to you for getting back in the saddle again every single time and being determined enough to deserve the success that he gives, when he wants to! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
