Ha! Cool. I was doing this in Pismo beach CA. Two miles of hard sand at low tide. I used an old Mongoose dirt board and a Peter Lynn C-Quad. Too bad it was before youtube.

Looks like a total blast lots of fun. I saw guys years ago on the beach front doing this but not with a kite, it was a windsurfer sail on a board like that.
