If working in a laboratory appeals to you, think about becoming a Medical Laboratory Technologist. It's an occupation with a variety of duties: examining body fluids and tissues, preparing tissue for microscopic examination, and conducting medical research. For more information on this occupation see www.alis.alberta.ca/occinfo.
