A new friend of mine (who first contacted me through YouTube) took the pleasure of making a spontaneous video to get an on the spot answer to a question of his regarding prostration.

You've mentioned here that you're not greater than those before you.

My question is, what is your opinion of their prayers if they don't do prostration? Do you consider their prayers a incomplete? invalid? unacceptable? or is it just optional?

Because in Islam, when it comes to solat, it's either sah (valid) or batal (invalid), rarely the grey area unless it's sunat (optional).

I will not give you my opinion. The Jewish law is that the individual bow and prostrate. If he does not prostrate, the prayer is still valid -- meaning: he does not need to repeat the prayer; HOWEVER the prayer was not expressed properly - this means that prostrating is not just optional. Intentionally not bowing is a transgression.

Your use of the words sah (I presume 9a7 based on a similar Hebrew word) and batal (I presume ba6al based on the Hebrew word ba6el) parallel Jewish terminology.

Of course, many Muslims know that this is only a figure of speech. Far be it that the Absolute ONE possess plurality of nature or co-sharers of eternality.

Just as the Quran contains metaphors and figures of speech, likewise the Torah contains figures of speech. The wicked will always justify his heresy.

Muslims aren't idolaters ..and they borrowed their prostration from the Jewish people ..So now whenever another group decided to adopt Jewish customes , we need to change our , inorder not to imitate them ?

There are Christian Sabbath keepers , and Christians and Muslims who circumcise their male infants , are we now to stop doing that ? We shouldn't grow beards or wear head coverings , because the Muslims do that too . Nonsense ..The Muslims aren't idolaters like the Christians...

Budhist also prostrate. Did they copy Christians and Jews? A muslim will say to you that god has brought a messenger to every religion. Muslims do not believe that they have a new religion, they have the religion that was sent to both Moses and Jesus both of whose religions were corrupted according to Muslims. First of all,the Quran mentiones in surah Al-Ikhlaas,that you can't compare Him to nothing,so when the Quran speaks of hands and face and such things,you shouldnt think of human hands and face,subhan'Allah we do not know Him nor can we see Him,so you can't compare Him to His creatures.

I think the question should be the other way around Asking muslims.cuz Jews & Christians prostrated during prayer before islam even existed. It is a historical fact that muhammad based many islamic practices off of Jewish and Christian practices including prostration & direction of prayer to Jerusalem which was later changed. Even the bible says Jesus prostrated -"he fell with his face to the ground and prayed" Matthew 26:39. So lets ask muslims about prostration rather than a Jew or Christian.
