Even though Nancy is not the lead singer, she's a great singer in her own right. Actually, Nancy and Ann have strikingly similar voices, and it took me a while to realize that Nancy was the one singing "These Dreams." Ann has a much more powerful voice, but Nancy's voice is a more delicate version of Ann's. Plus, she always harmonizes well with Ann.

Makes me wonder why they did not let Nancy sing lead more often? Still she was always my favorite, demure blonde playing guitar and singing backup to big sis.

@lovesheart, you might want to listen to the first chorus when she sings the line "In the second of the night", preferably with headphones and listen more closely. You might not notice it, but there are some people like myself that do.

@kawaiihonya I find that hard to believe,I agree she duz have more of a country sound but synthesized?? I have "Live at McCabes" and Nance is singing almost dry and she Rawks it!

@avocate201 actually they do not have similar voices.. Nancy's voice had to be synthesized for the recordings... her voice is VASTLY different and more country styled then rock. so they had to make her sound more rock styled.

Interestingly, Nancy had a cold when she went to record her vocal parts for the song "These Dreams". That's why her voice sounds rather raspy in certain parts of the song. But in the end, it was good.

Nancy Wilson could have gotten by just on her great looks........but this video proves why she was dedicated to being a great artist.........she's one of the great female rockers of all time
