dbauernf , maybe you are right, but after shifting at 5600, the rpm will get to low and you'll never get the same acceleration. Cause at this engine the max. torque is at 4000 rpm, over this it will accelerate better. You can watch other vid's were the drivers change gears at 5000-5500 rpm, and they don't accelerate better (time).

@ionutz05cti Shifting over or at 6000 makes sense only from first to second gear, all gears after that the revs won't drop below 4000 if you shift between 5600 and 6000. I agree that 5000-5500 is too low.

With the power peak at 5600 rpms, you're over reving it a lot.. people can't see that from the video but you can actually feel the acceleration drop after 5700-5800 or so. Shifting after 6000 makes no sense in this car.
