The mustang is heavier and its a 4.6 stock, throw on a coldair straight pipe that bitch and run it again, id say itll be about a 5 to 15 car win haha, and those s2000's are slooowww, I smoke the shit out of them in my 04 k24 accord all day, while your hitting your 8k rpms im on the next gear gone, its not about the horsepower, its all about the torque and the driver

Every time I race one of these in my 2000 GT it's just like this, give or take maybe 1/2 a car length. Surprised me the first time. It's an interesting duel. More torque more weight vs. less weight less torque.

Quite impressive on the s2000's end since that mustang had gears and the s2000 still pulled on him. Also no way in hell you smoke anything with your k24 accord especially an s2000.
