Antidepressants "work" by blocking the response, but not fixing the problem itself. Depression is a symptom that there is something wrong, but not the cause. I totally hate the pharmaceutical industry and this drug obsession but I do have ADHD and dyslexia and have struggled with it for my entire life. (And yes, it's not as simple as being hyper active). Don't ever say it doesn't exist. That's so friggin' narrow minded!
