Do you have to know some Japanese before you buy this?
I only know the basics like, hello/goodbye/thankyou/yes/no so would i need to learn more before I got this program? Or does it teach you all that?

@iPsychoKitteh Sorry for getting back to you a bit late. In fact yes, it will teach you right from the get-go. It'll teach you Hello/Goodbye and other beginner stuff. But it won't spend more then one or two core lessons on it. (A total of an hour time). Although you will hear it getting repeated often, so there is no way you'll forget it. That said, most things will continuously get repeated so that you can memorize better.

You can work at your own pace but every core lesson is 30 minutes and every lesson in between is 10 minutes.

Hey, how does it work, do you have a lesson everyday for 30mins/1hr or do you just go at whatever pace you like? Thanks

@Cypher25z Not sure if I replied to this. I may have but it's separated from your comment. Here I'll just copy/paste it: You can work at your own pace but every core lesson is 30 minutes and every lesson in between is 10 minutes.

hey does it have kanji or is everything romanized?

It has the option of switching from Hiragana/Katakana to Kanji and even to Furigana which is Kanji just with the Hiragana on top.
