This is a good thing. More people without 'faith' means more people with rational thought. we need to unite the world with knowledge not religion. Don't reclaim faith reclaim your hold on sanity, and with that sanity the world will slowly become a more rational place to live in. Things can only get better.
@TheDocterdon69 If you were "Baptized" SDA you "affirmed your acceptance of the doctrinal beliefs of the SDA Church". Vows are on your baptismal certificate & speaks of EGW in codified and obtuse way in Vow #8, you also believe SDAism = the Remnant denomination (unscriptural). Dig up your baptismal certificate; read and UNDERSTAND what EVERY SDA agrees to. BTW, you weren't baptized into the body of Christ but into the "SDA institution" (see #13). Perhaps you are the one who just walked thru?
@wiredog89BC are these all facts because you were in the church or did you just walk through, you know the old joke i went through college yes i walk through the front door and out the back , before you start talking what i believe maybe you should ask me and ill tell you when i was baptised in to the church i did not bow down to a woman named Ellen G White or Mary, the mark we all get will be for the saved in the forehead as it has to do with faith, lost same but also in hand for their works
The religious are strange folk to be touting facts, usually so anathema to the breed, but this video shows, at least occasionally, they can get a few things right. But then, in this case, they got money riding on it, kinda focuses the mind on the real.
A TRUE SDA will not DENY ANY of what I said. It is their doctrine. Just call the Wold Church's General Conference offices in Silver Springs, MD and ask for the Ministerial Division.
The SDA Church has (i) a Prophet that you must believe her inspiration is equal to biblical prophets to be baptized into the church. (ii) The SDA Church teaches that Jesus failed in completing his work on the Cross contrary to Romans 8:3 hence they teach you have to observe the Jewish Sabbath to be saved, (iii) they teach of a secret judgment (Investigative Judgment) that started in 1844 for based on one text in Daniel, (iv) the teach Christians have the “Mark of the Beast”.
What is false about the message? The Seventh day Adventists study and teach and learn from the Bible. They keep ALL of the commandments vs most other faiths. They believe in what the Bible teaches vs man's beliefs and traditions with a bit of truth thrown in to confuse the masses. Doug's life story is amazing. He was born a Jew and was an athiest..but, after studing scriptures, realized his error. If what a church is teaching can't be proved Biblically, it's wrong. SDA'S have Biblical truth
im really looking forward to 2025 when proclaiming christians will be only 15%! unfortunately it will probably be the fundamentalists...
