  • @MrDarkcatify This from the BBC series 'I Love The 70's' which ran during the first 10 weeks of 2000. This particular episode was called 'I Love 1974'.

  • That takes me back. I'm a Texan AND a product of the British public school system,raised on Wombles,Grange Hill,Swap Shop,etc.(Lesson #1: In the UK, the word "public" in the term "public schools" describes schools that are owned by individuals- NOT the state/NOT privatized; it's the opposite in the US:private schools are NOT the free schools...weird, huh?) There were lots of us, too. My friends and their parents were always shocked to discover my true identity the minute my mom opened her mouth.
