Van Halen Rare, "Trampled Under Foot" by http://ChrisGossett.com from 1975 when Van Halen were barely adults. This completely unreleased song version a live Led Zeppelin classic cover song is from a 1975 recording. Notice the date I uploaded this. If you want to debate Led Zeppelin vs. Van Halen remember Van Halen were teens in 1975.

  • damn man pretty cool recording and the audio is great you really upload some cool shit you got a great channel here thanks dude.

  • @KyleMorrison Thanks! It was mixed from something pretty lacking, so it's nice when they weakness of a recording can be enhanced into a strength!

  • Great job and great post! I have heard much worse quality than this! Thx 4 sharing.

  • @recman1207 YW! Check my channel for other gems, plz (:})

  • This is great, wish the audio was better but what can ya do. You have a lot of great rare VH on your channel bro, thanks for putting it out there.

  • @phillyphil690 I literally was laughing my butt off when I tried to mix this with the bass down. I tried using an EQ and turned everything on the bass side down to -5. Trust me, the original is so full of bass it's actually all you hear! If you check, especially recently I have been enhancing the sound, like that 2008 concert in 25 parts? That's so sweet sounding, and the original was very quiet. I like that. I can do the most with quiet tracks that have little 'noise'.

  • i guess eddie wasn't listening.

  • Went from "Talkin' 'bout love" to "Ain't talkin' 'bout love"

  • LOVE IT.THANX.As far as the ED hates ZEP thing.i read some were ED called PAGES live playing sloppy.Seen pictures with them hanging out together though.VH liked LED enough to cover there tunes. If this version and VHS STAIRWAY VERSION iv heard prove anything it proves VH CANNOT PLAY ZEPPELIN ANY WERE NEAR CORRECTLY.The live aid rock & roll version haggar/vh did was wrong to.NOT EVEN CLOSE.I also doubt PAGE could play like EDDY.IThey are very different players..IM GLAD I LIVE IN A WORLD WITH BOTH

  • I thought Ed hates Led Zeppelin!!!

  • One day someone will invent a device that takes a recording like this and cleans it up pristine. I've got 100's of bootlegs from the 60's & '70s that I listened to only once or twice because it gets painful after a while...

  • @EvilSpinner I never devalued this version. I just stating my preference. I listen to thus version too.

  • @Phenomenon58 Just remember, kiddies, as sloppy as page was, Eddie recognizes just how fucking influential Jimmy actually was. This is really cool. A great tip of the hat to Zep. Leave it at that, M'K??

  • This is pretty bad ass. Thanks!

  • where i can download this cover song with a audio better? i think it doesnt have /=
