Cette Cantate, écrite en 1730, présente pour le soprano des difficultés inhabituelles ( plusieurs contre-ut rarissimes chez Bach ) qui laissent à penser que cette Cantate, contrairement aux autres Cantates d'église, pourrait avoir été écrite pour voix de femme, en l'occurrence Faustina Bordoni, célèbre cantatrice, épouse du compositeur HASSE, ami de Bach, ou éventuellement pour un castrat soprano. L'ouvre pourrait avoir été écrite pour être jouée à Dresde, et non à Leipzig.

N'oublions pas qu'un peu partout en Europe le diapason était nettement plus bas. C'est vrai que les parties écrites pour la Bordoni par Haendel sont assez basses et mal placées pour nos soprani et gagnent souvent à être chantées par des mezzos... De toutes façons, sauf découverte inattendue mais improbable, nous ne saurons jamais...
