MASON COUNTY, Ky. (Adam Clements) -- A Maysville farmer, accused of animal neglect, tells a judge he has turned over all of his livestock to someone else's care. George Samuel Jones was back in court Monday morning. Last week, George Sam Jones was ordered to remove dozens of malnourished horses from his Mason County farm as a part if his bond agreement..Monday morning, Jones told a judge that he has done that and the horses are in another farmer's care in nearby Fleming County.Jones faced a total of 75 charges after the horses were discovered by a neighbor and reported to the Mason County Sheriff.Along with dozens of underfed horses, the sheriff also found more than 40 horse carcasses.Adam Clements spoke with Jones off-camera. He said the allegations against him aren't true, and that he had been feeding his horses. He says he was raising them to sell for human consumption in Mexico.Jones is set to appear for a pre trial hearing in February. The judge also ruled that George Jones is not allowed to keep his four dogs on his property until his legal matters are resolved.
