A Captain's Retirement.

A 79 year old captain by the name of John, has retired after nearly 61 years of service to Starfleet. Commanding the Excelsior Class USS Livingston for the past 40 years, he makes his last tour of his ship before transporting to a freighter that will take him back to his home on Luna Colony. He makes a request for the freighter captain to order his helmsman to flyby the Livingston so he could see his first and last command for one last time. While the Livingston remains at the starbase for some crew shore leave and to receive her new captain, John makes his way back home on Luna, wondering how he will spend the rest of his life without the uniform, and his ship.
