i have a 18 ft crestliner with a 115 hp merc and it does a strong 50 and sorry to say but your not even doing 50 mph bud gps the darn thing

thats not 70 bud. im sorry. i have a 20 ft triton with a 200 on it and it runs 70 and just by watchin this video i can tell theres a big difference in the speed

Check the newest video I was in the back of the boat which made for extra weight. I was holding the GPS and got 62 MPH with two grown men in the boat and not even full speed. Look at the throttle its not even all the way down when I filmed it. So I can guarantee that this boat hits 70+ with one person. I'm 170 lbs and sitting in the back so anyone who owns a boat knows the drag that makes.

Im taking it out in the morning to scout. I will take my android based device with me and use my SpeedView app to test the speed for a third time. Its within 1 mph give or take when I test it in my 08 Silverado. I will post the results and try to get a better video to post.

Yes I know it does seem hard to believe by watching the video. But keep in mind it was filmed with a crappy little cell phone. I have tested it with two different high end GPS units and I am running in between 70-75 on both. I wouldn't believe it either if I was the one watching this video. Put it this way it gets so scary when trimmed up at full speed that it takes all I got to hold on to the steering stick. Theres not much of the boat in the water when we run full speed.
