oh my gosh....i was born in 1990 and I've never seen this before...but I had the audio book on cassette and it had this song at the end after the story finished and i remember it SO well. Thanks so much for posting. Man the 90s kids got it good. One of my first words was 'Ornithorhynchusanatinus'

I remember making the noises of the kangaroo as a kid, wishing I was a 'Roo. Im sure I tried eating roots to understand animals too ha! Oops!
